Ferns

I'm a minimalist when it comes to color...even in my garden my dominant colors are green with touches of lavender and yellow. Maybe that is why I love Ferns so much. I also love how they photograph - they often have a painterly quality.

Fruits & Vegetables

Fullerton

Years ago I lived in Fullerton, California. I raised my kids and launched my photography career there. For some reason, unbeknown to me, I started documenting the city with my camera in 2000.

I spent early Saturday mornings, before the kids needed me, walking historical streets of Fullerton, looking for scenic photos and landmarks that needed to be frozen in time. I found myself in the middle of busy Harbor Blvd. photographing Angelo's and Vinci's Ristorante or climbing a ladder to capture a memory of close-knit neighbors on their street in Golden Hill. Later on, I worked at the Fullerton Arboretum where my love of photographing flowers and landscapes had it's start.

After years of exhibiting this collection for Fullerton residents, it now just lives on my hard drive. I feel a responsibility to preserve this hidden treasure for whomever might find it valuable someday.

Thank you Fullerton for being such a great city and for giving this mom and her four children some of our most memorable years. You will forever be in my heart (and on my hard drive.)

Lilies

Orchids

Orchids...elegant, graceful, exotic, delicate and long lasting. I always have a potted Orchid in my living room. They require very little light and add a nice touch to my decor. I water them with a few ice cubes every Friday and they live for months and months.

Painted Flowers

Most of my photographic images have very few edits after they come out of the camera. They've only been sharpened, brightened, or given a boost of color. The images in this collection, however, have been edited so that they have a "painterly look." I used to paint years ago, and maybe someday will get back into it, but for now I can pretend that I spent hours and hours painting these lovely flowers.

Peonies

Peonies or Paeonias are lovely, fragrant and romantic. Each Peony has more petals than you can count.

Succulents

Every garden should have at least one succulent. They are trending as a decorator's favorite and are so unique with their plumped-leaves and bundle of colors. If you don't think you have a "green" thumb, succulents are for you. They are drought tolerant and can thrive almost anywhere.
