"I am passionate about macro photography and my favorite subjects are flowers. But I also have a love for architecture and documenting life in general. Regardless of the subject, every photo has a story. As you look through my collection, I hope you find the right story for your walls."
Laura Lejuwaan is an accomplished photographer based in Orange County, California, with over 20 years of photography experience and an extensive portfolio. After studying photography, illustration, graphic design and Communications at the California State University, Fullerton, she inherited her Grandfather's photography equipment . . . and the rest is history. She began by photographing her own four children and documenting her hometown in Fullerton. Children remain some of her favorite subjects.
Laura began her professional career as a newborn, children, family and wedding photographer, producing creative ideas unique to each subject’s lifestyle. Her desire to build on knowledge and experience with fresh insight has made her an asset to the artistic community.
In 2007, Laura stumbled upon her love of photographing flowers while doing photography work for the Fullerton Arboretum. Laura says, “When photographing flowers, I am forever captivated by their human-like qualities of strength, confidence, beauty and poise. There is healing that comes when looking at God’s landscape, be it first-hand or through the lense of a camera.” This website showcases a collection of Laura’s favorite photographic images that span over a decade...and are “growing” daily.
Laura's photos have appeared in such magazines as People, U.S. News and World Report, Time, Decision, and on the cover of Parade Magazine. The Oprah Winfrey Show and National Geographic have also utilized her work.
