The Plummer Auditorium is a 1930 Spanish Colonial Revival designed by architect Carlton M. Winslow. It was built in 1930 for $295,000. In 1934, WPA Artist Charles Kossler painted the "Pastoral California" Mural on the side wall. This entertainment center stages important theatrical productions and boasts a grand Wurlitzer organ. I took this photo in August of 2004 from across the street on the top of a parking structure. I have always loved the creamy colors in this photo.
